Döppel Studio
Döppel Studio, founded in Paris by Jonathan Omar and Lionel Dinis-Salazar, develops a design practice where each object is conceived as a contemporary artifact. Their approach reinterprets archetypes to reveal the narratives they still carry. Somewhere between sculpture and function, their pieces construct an identifiable language where material, use, and symbol interact.
Awarded the AD x Range Rover Award 2026 and Le French Design Awards 2026, among others, the studio asserts a singular approach to design, bridging the gap between unique pieces and industrial production. From the Design Parade at Villa Noailles to the Néophore exhibition at the Tools Galerie in 2025, their projects question the capacity of objects to carry stories.
Invited by manufacturers and brands to rethink their collections, Döppel continues this dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation. Notably, the studio was invited to revisit the Galeries Lafayette archives as part of the Savoir-Faire Savoir program during Design Week 2026.
